Community

It is often difficult to integrate emerging technology. The tools and methodologies constantly shift. Teachers must educate themselves regularly and maintain connections with others in the field seeking to do the same.  There are supports available from both institutions and community groups.  The iNET grant hopes to connect you with these institutions  by linking to them here on this page.  In addition, we are participating in online social networking groups via Twitter and Diigo to further our connection and participation in the educational technology community.

Twitter twitter

INET Nurse is on Twitter under the account:  @iNetNurse.  With Twitter, we can connect and share updates with an expanding group of nurses, educators, and technologist.

We have created a group inside the social networking site, Diigo. Within Diigo, we can share bookmarks, discuss and connect with each other.

Diigo group

The iNet Nurse Diigo group is a place for nurse educators to meet, share, and discuss topics and resources concerning tools and techniques for educating nurses. Find out more about Diigo and join the group here.

Below you will see a ‘Tag Cloud’.  Each word represents a topic in our database of bookmarks.  The larger the word, the more bookmarks we have.  Click on the words to link directly to a listing of all bookmarks for that topic.

Also, we look to established groups for guidance and training.    We link to them here.
